Big ups crew!
Thank you for checking out this sound bank!
I have worked very hard with Electronisounds to bring you the most amazing product possible. Reflecting back, I was hoping to create all these weird, chaotic, hectic, Drum and Bass style sounds - but the more I started to tweak the Digitone, the more I realized that it really was a great synth to create FM sounds based on classic analog vibes.
In the end, I created sounds that were useable and flexible with a modern twist that combined FM and analog type textures.
My overall goal was to turn the Digitone into a definite “all in one” groove box. Something you could grab and create a jam or a basis to a new tune or beat idea. These patches are ready to throw down a live DAWless jam - or if you are looking to create more “finished” tracks, the patches are begging to be sampled and thrown “in the box” to create a new club banger.
Pair it with my “Jungle Riddims” pack for the Digitakt - and you will be creating DnB for daaaaaayzzzzz!
Coming from an old school rave background, there is an emphasis on broken beats and heavy basslines. This pack will take you from “Dominator” to Spy and Ivy LAB in seconds. For example Jungle sounds with that “Main Sub” patch (017) is just too easy, and even tweaking the “Pitched Snare” patch (047), can quickly take you from Jungle/DnB territory, to classic Techno Donks in the wang of a knob!
Although all these sounds are ready to drop as soon as you install them - FM is a very complex form of synthesis. With just a thought of tweaking a knob, sounds can change and morph very quickly… So in order for you to reach the maximum potential of each patch, I have created 16 patterns that will showcase each sound in context. Use them as is, or let the pattern inspire you to create bigger and better things.
A LOT of these patches have more than one sweet spot. I have done my best to make sure that there is minimal FM “harshness” when exploring these sounds, but - PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN TWEAKING SOUNDS!! Not for the high end - but some of these subs will be hazardous to you and your homes health!! Although a lot of these patches are meant for lower octave sounds, a lot of them are flexible and can be used in many different roles….. Also check if they sound good with Unison! (most DIGIZONE patches sound amazing with 2 voices of unison and just a minimal voice spread in between 12 - 24).
Exploration is key!!!!!!
The patches are also tagged in ways that are meaningful and make them easy to find.
Whether you want to bust it live or sample and tweak, there is enough in these 50 sounds to get you where you want to go!
